Princeton Election Consortium

Status: Launching soon

Client: Princeton University

Agency: GoodFolk

Role: Creative director and designer (primary)

Team: 2 supporting UX/UI designers

In light of the upcoming election cycle, our team was tasked with updating the PEC website with a more credible aesthetic, a simpler user flow and streamlined informational architecture. Over the course of 3-4 months of part-time work, my team and I were able to find common visual ground with each other and with the client, creating not only a fully custom interface, but also using the project to modestly evolve the branding, as well.

Proof

Status: In development

Client: SpanTree/Proof

Agency: GoodFolk

Role: Creative director

Team: 1 UX researcher, 1 supporting UX/UI designer

Proof is an app targeted toward visual designers and project managers who work in the food packaging industry. Its mission is to both streamline the legal vetting process for nutritional information, as well as help ensure that packaging mocks stay true to said information after any number of creative iterations.

In addition to creative direction, my contributions included helping design a completely custom hi-fi user interface, pairing with a supporting designer to scale it up, and creating a range of novel interactions to meet the needs established by our UX research lead.

As the app was being developed fully from scratch, I worked closely with the client and with my teammates to maintain a consistent vision, pace the project and brainstorm both MVP and future functionality with the client.

DigiChina

Status: Active

Client: Stanford University

Agency: GoodFolk

Role: Creative director and designer (primary)

Team: 2 supporting UI designers

My team and I were given the opportunity to develop a fresh brand identity and website design for Digichina, a Stanford research organization. Not only that, but we had to ensure our designs were Chinese-translation-friendly, too. The results: a Mondrian-inspired grid system, with a color palette that nods to the two universities spearheading research for the organization.

Glassdoor

Employer Experience

Status: Retired

Client: In-house for Glassdoor

Role: Senior UX Designer

While serving as senior UX designer for Glassdoor’s B2B site, I firstly redesigned the navigation, drastically increasing traffic to targeted sales pages and halving misdirected customer-service calls.
I also developed several iterations of the homepage and user signup flow, leveraging a/b testing and marketing research to optimize each evolution thereof.
The results? A 14% increase in CVR for account signups, a 54% increase in traffic, and doubled leads YoY through this and other targeted website updates.

Tasked with helping conceptualize, from scratch, a fitness app aimed at remote diet and workout coaching.
